I know there is a lot of bitterness out there and I agree with Ash, everyone4 is different and reacts differently to experiences. I look back at my 12 years with the JW's with fond memories, yes, even the last 2 years with the kangaroo court, the special meetings I was dragged into by the body of elders, most in the middle of the night. I was called at 10 pm one night, and dragged to the hall that night, for nothing. I use to go home and document everything, all the conversations. I still have them on floppy disk.

But you move on. Forums like this one are good, because this is not an xjw forum, like the others, this is a place where xjws can get together and discuss the scriptures, and to an extent discuss the Society and their teachings.

But many of the xjw forums out there, just seem a haven for everything contrary to scripture. I think it is good for those who share a past to get together and fellowship, but there comes a time when you need to move on, if you don't .... it's like a recovering alcholic hanging out at the bar.
