The world's oldest Bible can be found on the Internet now. The Codex Sinaiticus is 1600 years old and is the earliest suriving Christian Bible. It was written on sheets of parchment in Greek, and was unearthed in a monastery in the Sinai in 1844. Scholars in the UK, Russia, Germany and Egypt are now working together to put the Bible online. They've pieced together half of the book, photographed each page and uploaded it to the link below for the world to see. It has extensive "corrections" that are of great interest. Dr. Scot McKendrick of the British Library says the manuscript "offers a window into the development of early Christianity."
