"Christ after his resurrection continued for some time on earth invisible to mortals unless [when] upon certain occasions when he thought fit to appear to [mortals] his disciples; so it is to be conceived that at his second coming he and the children of the resurrection shall reign invisibly unless they shall think fit upon any extraordinary occasions to appear
Hello CC,

Interesting quote from Newton by Mr Penton. I have yet to examine Newton, but it seems to me any "presence" of the lord Christ would be covered in his departing words, "and I shall be with you til the end of the age" Mat 28:19 This presence then is already an invisible one. Now the future Coming is another issue...yes?

Newton says, in part, "....UNLESS THEY SHALL THINK IT FIT UPON ANY EXTRAORDIANRY OCCASIONS TO APPEAR..."

(a) Is it reasonable that the Second Coming co-incides with the next bout of natural long period cosmic chaos, when the heavens convulse, the Sun darkens by switching off , Venus produces ejecta and it and Mars leave their orbits?

(b) Is it possible that the lord Christ's materializations after his resurrection is a model for his role during his Second Coming, thereby suggesting that those taken to heaven will likewise have the option to materialize out from the invisible realm during his future reign?

(c) And was Heavenly Jerusalem a visible phenomenon in the pre-Flood earth that was also a gateway to heaven(or stargate) from which the rebellious Benai Elohim materialized into man's world? And is there any scriptural basis to suspect that there will be a restoration of this phenomenon?

(d) Or are these questions those of a madman?
