It took me a lot shorter time to decide that my sympathies were with the Free Brethren rather than any of the Russellites than it did you. But perhaps I feel more strongly that there are some Russellite teachings that I can in no way accept. For the life of me I cannot see how any sensible person can go on accepting the end time prophecies in the Six Volumes. From day one, every prophecy that the Watch Tower has come up with has proven false, and I see no reason for associating with any religion that makes falsehoods a basis for fellowship. I have no more desire to associate with Russellite congregations or go to their conventions than I would to Witness assemblies or Evangelical Churches. On an individual basis I think we should be open to others of other beliefs, but I no longer want to be dominated by man made theologies that are held to be the "Truth."
